Since leaving EZY Marketing, Jessica Medina has made the Pacific Northwest her home – and absolutely loves it. While she sometimes misses the Florida sunshine and beaches, her heart feels full in Washington. From ferry rides and mountain hikes to weekend explorations (and yes, even the rain), Seattle has proven to be the perfect fit for this new chapter in her life.
After relocating, she took the leap into full-time authorship and has since written and published an entire trilogy. The Echo Series is her debut: a Young Adult Sci-Fi trilogy that follows a teenage girl who discovers she has strange powers – powers that reveal one shocking truth: she’s not human. Set on a futuristic Earth locked in war with its sister planet, Echo, the series dives into themes of identity, loyalty, and love as the protagonist becomes the last hope for a dying alien race. It was a thrilling project to write, and she’s already hard at work drafting her next book.
In addition to writing, she continues to offer freelance graphic design work, primarily supporting fellow women authors. She used her own design skills to produce her trilogy and now enjoys helping other writers bring their stories to life visually.
And for anyone who remembers her time at EZY Marketing, her passion for social media hasn’t gone anywhere. She’s been actively growing her own online presence, including a YouTube channel where she shares writing tips and glimpses into the life of an author. TikTok, while a challenge at first, has become one of her favorite platforms – and with short-form video content being easy to cross-post, it’s a win across the board.
